Northern Italian Flavours

Awarded one hat for Ormeggio, anyone who has eaten there will know how good Alessandro's food is - including his al dente risottos, hand made pastas, sea food dishes and the slow spit-roasted meats of his native Brescia.

Sydney is set to have more of his taste of Italy when his newest eating venture, Spiedo, opens in the new CBD Westfield.

Spiedo (rough translation 'on a spit') will feature assorted meats (beef, pork, quail, duck) that are slowly roasted on huge skewers. The flavours are fabulous.

In addition, Spiedo will offer have a more informal eating/bar section. This will serve a great range of Italian snacks to enjoy with a fabulous Italian (or Australian) glass of wine.

And what's more, you'll be able to enjoy their delicious Italian morsels from 7.30am till late.
