Spanish Christmas in July
Would you love to holiday in Spain, but can’t do it this year? Get a Taste of Spain with a weekend Spanish cooking retreat instead!
Staying in gorgeous accommodation in Huskisson on the NSW south coast, you will be treated to tapas on the first night, a Spanish extravaganza on the second night and a traditional brunch on the final morning. All classes are hands-on, include local produce and wines and you will receive a copy of all recipes too.
Presented by Biznaga Travel Company, this is a weekend of luxury accommodation, fun cooking lessons and fantastic food and wine. Breakfast and dinner (with wine) are included.
THE ITINERARY
Friday 23 July
Meet at the luxury bed & breakfast in Huskisson any time from 5pm. Your arrival will be celebrated with piping hot tapas made using local produce, great local wines and lively Spanish music.
Saturday 24 July
The morning is all yours - sleep in, laze over breakfast, visit quaint local towns or take a whale watching cruise, it’s entirely up to you. From 4pm we will start our cooking extravaganza - a traditional Spanish Christmas feast! You’ll learn how to cook special recipes which have been handed down through generations of Spanish families; hear about Spanish Christmas traditions and enjoy some Spanish Christmas stories. We’ll then sit down to enjoy our delicious meal as a group, accompanied by local wines, great company and perhaps even a little gift!
Sunday 25 July
In this morning’s class we’ll create a Spanish brunch with fresh pastries and bread, a selection of scrumptious toppings, fresh juices and of course, a traditional Spanish hot chocolate. After a late check out you can head home or spend another day exploring the gorgeous south coast.
