Chocolate Pudding

ingredients

Fresh

  • 4 eggs
  • 300 gm dark chocolate
  • 160 gm butter

Pantry

  • 160 gm caster sugar
  • 40 gm plain flour

method

1 Separate the egg yolks from the whites
2 Melt the butter and the chocolate together in a bowl over simmering water,
3 Whisk yolks, sugar and flour together until mix turns white
4 Leave chocolate and butter mix to cool slightly, then fold through yolk mix
5 Whisk egg whites to a soft peak and fold through chocolate mix
6 Grease 6 moulds very well and 3/4 fill with mix
7 Bake at 150°C for 30 to 35 minutes
8 Turn out while still hot

tips

Serve with hot chocolate sauce and butter scotch ice cream
